How To Avoid Dry Hits When Using VGOD Vape

A dry hit happens when there is not enough e-liquid reaching the vape coil, resulting in a burnt taste. This affects the vaping experience and may damage the coil. Proper use of the VGOD vape device and simple adjustments help in preventing dry hits. Follow these steps for a smooth and enjoyable vape session.

Prime the coil before use:

Before using a new coil, adding a few drops of e-liquid to the wick helps in soaking it properly. This step prevents the wick from burning when the device is activated. After filling the tank, letting the coil sit for a few minutes allows the liquid to absorb fully.

Use the correct wattage:

Each coil has a recommended wattage range, which helps in maintaining a balance between vapour production and flavor. Setting the power too high may cause the coil to burn too quickly, leading to dry hits. Checking the recommended settings for the specific VGOD vape model ensures the best results.

Avoid chain vaping:

Taking multiple puffs in quick succession may cause the wick to dry out faster than it can absorb more e-liquid. Giving a few seconds between inhales allows the wick to stay saturated and prevents overheating. If the device starts tasting dry, pausing for a short time helps in recovering the wick.

Keep the tank filled:

A low e-liquid level may cause the wick to dry out, especially if the device is tilted or held at an angle. Keeping the tank at least half full helps in maintaining a steady flow of liquid to the coil. Checking the tank regularly and refilling as needed prevents dry hits.

Choose the right e-liquid:

E-liquids come in different thicknesses based on their VG (vegetable glycerin) and PG (propylene glycol) content. High VG liquids are thicker and may not absorb well in certain coils. Using an e-liquid that matches the coil type helps in preventing wicking issues.

Replace old coils:

Over time, coils wear out and may not wick properly. If dry hits continue even after following these steps, replacing the coil with a new one may be necessary. A fresh coil provides better flavor and vapour production.

Preventing dry hits involves priming the coil, using the correct wattage, and taking breaks between puffs. Keeping the tank filled, choosing the right e-liquid, and replacing old coils also help in maintaining a smooth vaping experience.
